Our beautiful daughter Ella was born on Thursday, June 11th at 7:30pm (at only 29 weeks, 5 days - or 10 weeks early). She weighed 690 grams (1 lb. 8 oz.) and was 12 1/2 inches long. We have many obstacles to overcome to bring our girl home, but she has proven herself to be a remarkable fighter.
I am sorry to be so late in letting you know that Ella and you are in my daily prayers as well as on our church prayer chain. I have been regularly checking the blog, but had some trouble reactivating my dormant Google account. Her progress is amazing and your medical knowledge is growing by leaps and bounds. I am sure your constant love and care is what keeps Ella going. She knows she is loved. I will add extra prayers for a successful surgery on Wednesday.
